STOP SPAMMING!!!
okay, so i have spent the last hour rejecting people that are pretty much spamming. I thought that 234 pending members was a bit much,
and i ended up rejecting around 200. NOT HAPPY. You think i am stupid? having porn related websites and drugs? you must think so.
well, the spamming HAS to stop. I dont have time for this!!!
Anyway, as many of you know Mark's new band Plus 44 (with Travis) has released a few songs as well as a music vid for 'When Your Heart
Stops Beating'. And because of the glory of youtube, you can view it below!!
FYI: Regular updates such as the fan section (dear mark, etc) and news will be updated soon.

Well guys, its that time of the year again, meaning updates!
As for mark updates, I have added a couple of articles to the news section one titled 'When It Comes To Publicity, Plus-44's Mark Hoppus Is No Tom DeLonge' and 'Mike Patton's Agenda: Touring With Peeping Tom, Humiliating Mark Hoppus And Danny DeVito'. Hmmm interesting!
As all of you may know, Tom's project Angels & Airwaves has released their debut album 'We Don't Need to Whisper' and I would love to hear what you guys think of it. Via the guestbook (I got a shiny new one!) email, or whatever. I've heard mixed reviews! Plus 44's debut album is set for a release later this year.
As for site updates, a a shiny new guestbook, added some dear mark entries, and one met mark story.
Also a new affiliate, the Pierre Bouvier of Simple Plan fanlisting.

HAPPY 34TH BIRTHDAY MARK!!!!
Yup, decided to finally update in honour of Mark's 34th birthday!
I added STACKS of Dear Mark entries, added a few mark quotes and also added a mark lookalike. Phew!
Also, in the news section I added part of an article titled Mark Hoppus Joins Fuse, so be sure to check that out!

PUNKS FIGHT FOR CBGB CLUB AS DEADLINE LOOMS
Members of GOOD CHARLOTTE, AUDIOSLAVE and BLINK-182 are among the stars calling for politicians to help save famous New York punk venue CBGB from closure as the club's deadline looms.
Punk acts have been performing at a month long festival of shows at owner HILLY KRISTAL's Bowery club, but all the publicity and cash raised from the venture still might not be enough to keep the place open.
And Blink-182's MARK HOPPUS claims, "When I saw on the news that there was a possibility that it would be closing down, it was on par with, like, 'They're closing down Mount Rushmore (South Dakota landmark)' or something like that. It can't happen."

I found a little article from the Australian paper The Age that contained a little bit about Mark, about Motion City Soundtrack.
Forward Motion
The band roped in Blink-182's Mark Hoppus as producer. The association rose on a European tour with Blink. Guitarist Josh Cain bonded over music with Hoppus.
"They're both music nerds and really into the recording aspects of things," Pierre explains.
"Josh ended up spending a lot of time in Blink's dressing room, listening to bands like Dinosaur Jr and Fugazi. Hoppus also happens to be an amazing guitar player, which we didn't know, and we ended up talking to him about producers."
Hoppus gave the band some names and at the end of the conversation casually mentioned he was looking at slotting into the production chair himself but was yet to find a band he wanted to work with.
"We just left it at that, but then we thought, 'What the hell, why don't we just ask him?' It was a gamble for us, because he hadn't done anything like this before, but it worked out well.
"This is the first record we all did together from the ground up. The other ones had a lot of songs on them that were written before all the members were in the band.
"We also had a bit more time and money.''

Busy Barker Gives Update On Projects
Travis Barker seems to be constantly in motion, even for a drummer. While Blink-182 takes an indefinite hiatus, Barker is keeping incredibly busy with two bands, a TV show, his own line of sneakers and now another little one on the way. He took a moment to talk to MTV.com and give an update on his newest band, Plus-44. "We'll get back to writing Plus-44 songs sometime in October. That's when I have a couple of weeks off before I leave on the Pennywise tour [with his current band, Transplants]," he told MTV News. "In the meantime, Mark [Hoppus, also of Blink-182] and Carol [Heller, Plus-44's female vocalist] have been writing, and I'll just kind of join back up with them here or there. And then for sure we'll work hard on it for a couple of months starting in February." Barker expects the completed album to be released sometime next summer.

Disney Presents $2 Million to the Make-A-Wish Foundation
Disney's once-in-a-lifetime fundraising event held aboard the Disney Magic cruise ship last night generated more than $1 million for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Sorry about the bit of downtime with the site, I was having server problems :/
Anywho I have added a couple of submissions for Dear Mark thanks for submitting those guys! I am on the hunt for affiliates too so dont be shy to email me.
Also, I am planning to do a complete revamp of the photo gallery, bare with me on that it should be done early next week.
Nothing on the news front on Mark yet, as soon as something comes up ill post it here.
